Information you provide. When you use our donation form, you may enter:
This information is stored locally in your browser using the browser's localStorage feature. It is not transmitted to our servers. We do this so that you can see and reuse your past dedications without us needing to maintain a database of donor records.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may collect standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used for security and operational purposes and is generally not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and analytics. The Site may use a minimal set of cookies for site functionality. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Plausible or Fathom), it will collect aggregated, non-identifying statistics about Site usage. We do not use cross-site tracking pixels or advertising cookies.
We do not collect payment information. When you complete a donation, you do so on the third-party charity's own donation page, and any credit card or payment information you provide is collected and processed by that charity (or their payment processor), not by us.
Information stored in your browser is used solely to assist you in completing your donation. Server logs are used to operate, secure, and improve the Site. Aggregated analytics are used to understand how the Site is performing in general.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
When you click through from our Site to a third-party charity's donation page (such as NATCA Charitable Foundation, ALPA Pilots for Pilots, or any other linked charity), you leave our Site and enter the charity's own website. That charity's privacy policy and data practices apply from that point forward. We have no control over and are not responsible for the charity's handling of your information.
The Site links to external aviation resources (LiveATC.net, FlightAware, Flightradar24, the FAA, AOPA, AirNav, Aviation Weather Center, and others). We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Information stored in your browser's localStorage remains there until you clear your browser data or until you use the "start over" function on the donation form. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention policies.
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address the issue.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under data protection laws (such as the GDPR in the EU or the CCPA in California) including the right to access, correct, or delete information about you.
